The Jordan Hotels Association participated in a meeting convened by the Jordan Tourism Board under the patronage of the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, Dr. Imad Hijazin, to discuss the key pillars of the 2027 marketing strategy. The meeting was attended by the General Manager of the Jordan Tourism Board, members of its Board of Directors, and representatives of the tourism sector.

Representing the Association were its Chairman, Hussein Hilalat, who also serves as Vice Chairman of the Jordan Tourism Board’s Board, together with the Association’s General Manager, reaffirming the Association’s role as a key partner in supporting the development of Jordan’s tourism sector.

The meeting reviewed the outcomes of a series of consultative discussions with tourism sector stakeholders, focusing on target markets, promotional activities, participation in international exhibitions and tourism events, as well as expansion plans in promising markets, particularly China and Uzbekistan, through enhanced air connectivity and digital marketing initiatives.

Participants also emphasized the importance of building on the positive international media exposure generated by the historic achievement of Jordan’s national football team, Al Nashama, and leveraging this momentum to strengthen promotional campaigns and stimulate demand for Jordan across key source markets.

The meeting concluded with a renewed commitment to maintaining close coordination between the Jordan Tourism Board and its partners to finalize the 2027 marketing strategy in alignment with the objectives of the National Tourism Strategy, further strengthening Jordan’s position as a distinguished tourism destination on both the regional and international levels.
